Yesterday, I went to Basha's and bought a whole sirloin tip in a bag for $1.59/lb. Then I went over to the butcher and asked him to cut it into thick steaks for me (yes, that is free!!). I got 9 super HUGE steaks plus the end cuts for under $20 total! I think I am going to marinate the steaks in something yummy and grill them next Friday when my brother and his family are visiting. With baked potatoes and a veggie/salad, we can have an awesome steak dinner for about $25 for 8 people!!! That sure beats eating out, even WITH a certificate from Restaurant.com (the only way I eat out:-)!
I do believe I will go and buy another one before the price goes up!!LOL

Try doing a search on the Pioneer Woman for BBQ Steaks. They were were a big hit here, helps give the timing of it too. She melts butter on hers. :) We like to melt Blue Cheese on ours, or Gouda. :)
