Each year, our support group hosts a Field and Fun Day for the kids. This includes some events that require a little athletic ability and others that require none, so all have a great time and a chance to win a ribbon. The events are divided by age groups and a great time was had by all this year.I encourage every home school leader to consider having a day like this for the kids to have a blast and compete in some fun events. Over the years, our events have included things like 50 yard dash, obstacle course, softball throw, wheelchair race, long jump, limbo, basketball dribble and shoot, relay race and many more. We had about 60-75 kids participate this year and they all seemed to enjoy it.

hi , I have been wanting to homeschool for about 6 years now ,but was afraid to do so . MY oldest daughter is 10 years old. I also have a 4 and 3 year old. I really want to do it but I do not even know where to begin or what to do. My oldest daughter loves running and was in track in carver school. She is worried that if I take her out she will not longer have friends or get to be on a track team. How do i join a homeschool group and do they have sports?
haley rose, please email me directly so I can provide you with more info about homeschooling at dolphinplus@juno.com. I would be glad to help you however I can.
